Samuel Eto'o is considered the best African player of all time.

The Cameroon legend played for top clubs like Inter Milan and Barcelona and won everything, playing alongside iconic footballers.

The former striker recently named the three best players he played with in his illustrious career.

Eto'o was at his best at Barcelona and Inter Milan from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s. In Spain, he won three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues with the Blaugrana.

After winning the treble in 2009 with Barcelona under Pep Guardiola, he joined Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan and won another treble. He is the only player to win back-to-back trebles with two different clubs.

Before playing for top Euro[mean clubs, Eto'o won two Africa Cup of Nations titles in 2000 and 2002 with Cameroon, per Transfermarkt. He also won the African Player of the Year award four times,

The 42-year-old announced his retirement from football in 2019. He scored over 350 goals in his club career.

In an interview with France 24, Eto'o disclosed the best players he's played with at the international and club level.

"Patrick Mboma. And yet, our personal relationship has not always been easy. Today, I am happy because everything has recovered, everything is back to normal. I was on the phone with him again earlier and it's always a pleasure. He was my best attacking teammate in the national team."
