Champions League Top Scorers

1. Harry Kane (Bayern Munich, 6 goals)

Kane moved to first place in the Champions League Golden Boot race after starring in Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Lazio on Tuesday night.

The Englishman delivered when his team needed him the most, scoring a brace in the second leg to send the Bavarian giants into the last 8.

Apart from his double in the Round of 16, Kane also scored four goals in the group stage. He scored once in the opening game against Manchester United and netted thrice in Bayern's two meetings with Galatasaray.

1. Kylian Mbappe (PSG, 6 goals)

Mbappe is on a mission to win the Champions League in his final season with PSG. The Frenchman fired a double in their 2-1 win over Real Sociedad on Tuesday night to seal their passage into the next round.

That brace extended his goal tally in this year's Champions League to six. He scored three goals in the group stage and once in the first leg of the Round of 16.

1. Erling Haaland (Manchester City, 6 goals)

Haaland's quest to win back-to-back Golden Boot titles in the Champions League remains very much alive after he grabbed a share of the lead on Wednesday night.

He scored one of Manchester City's goals in their 3-1 win over FC Copenhagen in the second leg, a result which booked their passage to the quarters.

Five of his six goals in this tournament came in the group stage, including a couple of braces against BSC Young Boys, per TransferMarkt.

4. Julian Alvarez (Manchester City, 5 goals)

Alvarez climbed to fourth in the Golden Boot race after scoring a goal in City's 3-1 win on Wednesday.

4. Galeno (Porto, 5 goals)

Galeno has a chance to move up to first place next week, with Porto set to face Arsenal in the second leg of their Round of 16 clash. He has scored five goals in this tournament thus far.

4. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid, 5 goals)

Griezmann can add to his goal tally next week, with Atletico Madrid set to face Inter Milan in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie.

4. Alvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid, 5 goals)

Griezmann is not the only contender of Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Golden Boot race. Morata has been on fire as well for the Spanish club, scoring five goals in Europe thus far.

4. Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United, 5 goals)

Hojlund is officially out of the Golden Boot race. He won't be able to catch Mbappe, Kane, and Haaland at the top, as Manchester United have already been eliminated.
