  • Kylian Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, is reportedly in Spain house-hunting
  • The new reports have added more fuel to the Mbappe-Real Madrid rumours
  • The World Cup-winning striker met with France's President earlier this week

Kylian Mbappe's reported move to Real Madrid is gaining traction every day. News broke out that the striker will finally wake the long-awaited switch to Spain at the end of this season.

Neither party is yet to confirm or deny leaving the rumour mill to work on an overdrive. He has reportedly been offered a five-year deal with the record European champions.

GFFN now reports that Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, has travelled to Spain to ostensibly look for a new house where his son will stay once the deal is finalised. Finding a good home and area with security for a superstar of Mbappe's calibre will be top on the agenda of his entourage.

Mbappe's mother also acts as his agent and will be instrumental in the negotiations of her son's future. Fabrizio Romano reports that he has been offered a 'way lower' salary than what Real Madrid had offered in the past. The said salary is also lower than what he is currently earning at PSG.

Mbappe meets Emmanuel Macron

Mbappe met French President Emmanuel Macron earlier this week for dinner at Élysée Palace. The French leader was flanked by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani.

The meeting sparked questions on whether the 25-year-old striker could possibly change his mind on his future.

The details of the meeting weren't readily divulged, though, as Sports Brief reported, Macron seemingly made a subtle joke in the wake of the rumours.

"You are going to create more trouble for us," he said.

PSG fans boo Mbappe

At the same time, the expected departure of the French national team captain from Paris Saint-Germain hasn't gone down well with the club's supporters.

Mbappe was booed off the pitch by fans during a Ligue 1 match against Rennes on February 25. It was the first game he played since news of his imminent exit broke out.
