In January, the forward landed himself in hot water with ten Hag after he missed training due to illness, only to be spotted partying with friends until the early hours of the morning in Belfast.

The incident saw him dropped from the team that faced Newport County in the FA Cup, with his manager demanding an apology, per Sky Sports.

Rashford, ten Hag 'barely speaking'

While ten Hag publicly insisted that the matter has been resolved, this may not be the case.

According to Express UK, the duo are 'barely speaking' since that incident, with the publication that the impact of Rashford’s Belfast bender is still felt throughout the club.

Incredibly, Rashford is not the only high-profile player ten Hag has fallen out with since his arrival at Old Trafford.

The Dutchman is said to have experienced a strained relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo and, most recently, Jadon Sancho.

Both Ronaldo and Sancho were eventually shipped out, with the latter rejoining Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.

Rashord has equally been linked with a possible summer departure, with Paris Saint-Germain understood to be the leading contenders for his services.

PSG want Rashford to replace Mbappe

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on PSG reportedly pushing to sign Rashford to replace Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has widely been linked with a possible PSG exit this summer, with his current deal with the club set to expire at the end of the season.

It is understood that Real Madrid are the leading contenders for the services of the France international, while a move to Liverpool has also been mooted.
