Victor Osimhen will always come through for his supporters and this time the Super Eagles striker has rewarded an Nigerian kid living in Ivory Coast who went viral after a video of him flooded the internet.

Popular Nigerian social media influencer Tunde Ednut posted the young boy’s video of him dressing like Osimhen with the tinted hair and the Nigerian jersey added with the face mask while holding a football.

The video became an instant internet sensation, prompting the Napoli striker striker to reach out, seeking how to contact the young boy and his parents for a reward.

Osimhen, who is the reigning Africa Footballer of the Year, has now gifted the family of the boy a whopping N2,500,000.00 to show his appreciation and support for the viral video.

Osimhen was instrumental in the Super Eagles' outing at the just concluded 2023 African Cup of Nations, where he led the Super Eagles to win the silver medal in Ivory Coast.

Chelsea meet Victor Osimhen’s agents

Meanwhile, Chelsea have stepped up their chase for Osimhen as they have opened talks with the representatives of the Super Eagles striker over his personal terms, Vanguard reports.

The Blues are among the top clubs seeking to sign the Napoli forward in the summer transfer window, with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly also interested in the striker.

Osimhen is touted to be heading out of Napoli in the summer despite penning a one-year contract extension with the reigning Serie A champions.

Osimhen wants Premier League move

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Napoli striker Osimhen is keen on moving to the English Premier League this summer.

Transfer expert Ben Jacobs has disclosed that EPL clubs Arsenal and Chelsea have an advantage in the race to sign the 25-year-old forward as the Nigerian prefers a move to England.

Osimhen will demand at least £250,000 per week if he is to consider leaving Napoli for any of the top clubs in Europe at the end of the season.
