  • Harry Kane scored a last-minute winner for Bayern Munich
  • The England striker now has 27 goals in 23 Bundesliga games
  • Bayern remain 8 points behind Bayer Leverkusen

Harry Kane proved why he is arguably the best striker in world football with two brilliant goals against RB Leipzig on Saturday, February 24.

One of his striker was a stunning volley late in the game which gave his Bayern team all three points just as it looked like they were going to settle for a draw.

For the opener, Kane fired-in a fierce strike with his left foot after benefiting from Jamal Musiala’s pass in the 56th minute.

Benjamin Sesko then equalised for Leipzig 14 minutes later with a deflected strike, sending the home crowd into silence amid the prospect of more dropped points in the title race.

But Kane, has he has done on countless occasions throughout his career, came through for his team with another brilliant left-footed finish after substitute Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting got in behind the defence.

Magical Kane does it again

With his brace on Saturday, Kane became the first player to score 27 goals in his first 23 Bundesliga matches, per Transfermarkt.

Bayern, who are eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, could see their 11-year Bundesliga dominance come to an end, but their woes this season have very little to do with Harry Kane, who continues to do his part on the pitch.

The Bavarians’ latest win comes just days after manager Thomas Tuchel announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Tuchel has seemingly fallen out of favour at the club as there is a genuine risk the club could end the season without a trophy.

Having lost in the German Super Cup in August, Bayern were also knocked out of the German Cup by third-tier Saarbrucken.

They are also in danger of getting eliminated from the Champions League after losing to Lazion in the round of 16 first leg.
