  • Fans have noticed an unusual thing in the pics currently trending on social media

Cristiano Ronaldo shared photos of himself and his son, Cristiano Junior, in the gym and got fans talking after they spotted something unusual about his feet.

The Knights of Najd will face Al Ain in the quarter-final as they hope to reach their first final since 1995 and possibly win the competition for the first time in their history.

Al-Nassr manager, Luis Castro, gave the Saudi Arabian team a scheduled day off after yesterday's win, but the 39-year-old is working on his fitness in his gym at home.

Why Ronaldo painted his toenails

The former Real Madrid star shared two gym photos of him and his son on social media with the caption translated as, 'Today with my partner', but fans noticed something else.

Ronaldo’s nails, particularly those of his big toes, were painted black, similar to how ladies do it fashionably, leading to questions in the comments.

The paintings were not done for fashion, even though he likes to keep a good look. According to Men's Health, it was done to give the nails a protective layer against fungi and bacteria in sweaty boots for hours.

For MMA fighters, it hardens the nails and prevents cracking or splitting up during a fight.

Cristiano Jr plays for the Al-Nassr U13 side and was one of the scorers in their 4-1 against Ohod, which helped them clinch the U13 Premier League title.

Ronaldo reacts after reaching milestone

Sports Brief reported on Ronaldo reacting to reaching career milestone after playing his 1,000th club game in Al-Nassr’s 1-0 win over Al Feiha in the AFC CL last 16.

The Portuguese veteran scored to mark the milestone, his 713th non-penalty goal. He teased fans on social media with a picture of his celebration and a telling caption.
