In a video shared on social media, Rahman rose high to defend a cross when he collided with his marker, before falling awkwardly.

Meanwhile, in a very competitive game, Andrija Zivkovic opened the scoring with 18 minutes remaining to force the game into extra time.

Tomasz Karol Kędziora doubled the advantage in extra time but Dimitris Limnios late goal meant the game had to be decided on penalties.

The former Chelsea left-back missed the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast after deciding to stay away from the national team, as reported by GBC Ghana.

Baba Rahman declines AFCON invite

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian defender, Baba Abdul Rahman explained his decision to reject an invite for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The former Chelsea left-back was initially named in the 55-man provisional squad by Chris Hughton but failed to make the final 27-man team.

Before the announcement of Ghana's AFCON squad, Rahman was reported to have declined a call from the technical team of the Black Stars.

Rahman's encounter with Antony goes viral

Sports Brief also reported that Black Stars left-back, Baba Rahman became the talking point on social media after his magnificent moment with Manchester United's Antony, during the FA Cup game against Reading.

Antony, known for his wizardry of tricks and spins in games, came up against the Ghanaian, who was then playing for Reading, in a one-v-one situation.

As he usually does to defenders, the Brazilian, in an attempt to beat Rahman, stood for almost a minute doing his 'shake-the-body' trick, but the Ghana international cleverly defended the player from moving past him.
