  • Thomas Tuchel is reportedly facing opposition from his own players at Bayern Munich
  • The German is staring at an uncertain future following Bayern's disastrous run of form
  • Bayern have lost three straight games, with their latest defeat coming against Bochum

At least six Bayern Munich stars are reportedly leading a revolt against Thomas Tuchel at the club.

Tuchel has come under heavy pressure in recent days owing to Bayern's frustrating run of results across competitions.

The Bavarians are facing the prospect of ending the season without a trophy, with the reigning champions trailing Bayer Leverkusen by eight points on the Bundesliga table.

Tuchel's men are already out of the DFL-Supercup and could be bundled out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 following their defeat to Lazio last week.

The defeat came just days after they lost to Bayer Leverkusen, with the side also recently losing to Bochum.

Bayern stars want Tuchel sacked

The disappointing run of form has left Tuchel under pressure, with SPORTbible reporting that at least six players are said to be unhappy with the German as manager.

Per BILD, Thomas Muller is among the six players who have shown discontent towards the former Chelsea boss.

Others include Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Matthijs de Ligt, Mathys Tel, and Serge Gnabry.

The situation is so tense that the likes of Kimmich and Goretzka are reportedly questioning the decision to sack Nagelsmann.

Meanwhile, Leroy Sane, Harry Kane, Eric Dier, and Jamal Musiala are the players said to be on Tuchel's side.

Tuchel has barely lasted a year at Bayern, having taken charge of the club in May 2023 after Nagelsmann was shown the door.

Thomas Tuchel equals unwanted record

Sports Brief, in a previous report, stated Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel equalled an unwanted record in the Bavarian club victory against FC Koln.

According to data courtesy Gracenote Live, the 50-year-old Tuchel became the first Bayern Munich manager since Louis van Gaal on December 11, 2010, to make no substitutions in a Bundesliga match during the team's three-nil home win over FC St. Pauli.
