Enzo Fernandez has all but cleared the air about his Chelsea future.

The Argentine midfielder has endured a mixed spell with the Blues since he joined them during the 2023 winter transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, the Premier League giants forked out a British-record £106.8m to land the services of Fernandez from Benfica.

The Argentina international went on to pen an eight-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

However, he has recently been linked with a surprise exit, barely a year since he joined the west Londoners.

Will Enzo Fernandez quit Chelsea?

But on Wednesday night the midfielder appeared to hint he has no plans of dumping the Blues.

The former Benfica star was part of the squad that beat Aston Villa 3-1 in the FA Cup.

Fernandez scored his side's third goal in the second half with a brilliant free-kick fired into the top corner of Emiliano Martinez's goal.

He went on to celebrate the goal by taking off his shirt and showing it towards the camera.

SPORTbible reports that the goal celebration all but suggested the Chelsea star is still enjoying life at the West London club despite rumours linking him with a possible exit.

Meanwhile, Conor Gallagher and Nicolas Jackson were also on target for the Mauricio Pochettino-tutored side, with Moussa Diaby netting Villa's consolation at the death.
