Spanish giants, Real Madrid, are finally set to get their man Kylian Mbappe, with the latest reports from Spain suggesting that the 25-year-old has already signed a contract with the club.
Los Blancos have had public interest in Mbappe for more than four years, and the club have seen several of their attempts to sign the superstar hit a wall.
But this is set to change, as Mbappe’s long-standing association with Paris Saint Germain will come to an end after he informed the club of his intentions to leave as a free agent at the end of the season.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Real Madrid and Mbappe entered into an agreement long before news of the 2018 World Cup winner’s intentions to leave PSG.

Real Madrid’s Managing Director, Jose Angel Sanchez, entered started negotiations with Mbappe after the forward gave the club the green light.
Football Espana further reports that while it was expected that Mbappe would be Real Madrid’s highest earner, this will not be the case as he agreed on a considerable pay cut from what he was earning at PSG to join the La Liga giants.
At some point from the first of July, Mbappe is expected to be officially presented as a Real Madrid player. This is a strategic date as it comes between the Frenchman’s participation in the Euros and the Olympics with France.

Despite the departures of Neymar and Lionel Mess, Mbappe remains one of the top marksmen in the world and has scored 32 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions, per Transfermarkt.
