Nicolas Jackson is not happy with his Chelsea teammate Enzo Fernandez at the moment.

The Senegalese striker was furious with the Argentinian after he felt that the World Cup winner stole his shot during the clash against Manchester City.

The incident happened in the 66th minute of their English Premier League game against the defending champions, with the Blues leading 1-0.

Jackson was getting ready to latch onto a loose ball just inside the box and was lining up to shoot when Fernandez got in his way and took a shot himself. Fernandez failed to get his effort on target, and Jackson was visibly upset with his teammate’s decision.

The Senegalese star was fuming with Fernandez, and the missed chance proved crucial, as City equalised later on.

Chelsea fans watching the game didn’t think it mattered who took the shot, as Jackson couldn’t have done much better anyway.

@KingAyooo:

“Jackson, you wouldn’t have scored it anyways, waste man.”

@OkayAnkush:

“Jackson screaming at Enzo like he finishes off every chance he gets. He misses a tap-in every 20 minutes but has the audacity to berate a teammate for trying to score…Reminds me of Onana screaming at Maguire. We all know how that panned out 🤷🏻‍♂️.”

@imbrakoby:

“Look at Jackson behaving like he would have scored without the interference of Enzo. Empty pole serf, he is missing it. 😂”

Jackson hasn’t exactly hit the ground running at the London-based side, explaining why fans didn’t think he would do much better.

As noted by Transfermarkt, he has only scored nine goals in 26 appearances for the side so far.

Jackson booked after being substituted

Sports Brief earlier reported how Nicolas Jackson risks being banned after picking up another yellow card.

The Senegalese striker earned a booking a few minutes after he was substituted in a game against Crystal Palace.

Jackson was shown a yellow after he celebrated Enzo Fernandez’s goal by running onto the field of play.
