Speaking to the media ahead of the showdown against the Bucaneers, Lorch said playing against his former team would be tough.
"It’s difficult to play my first game, especially against my former team, but in life, we need to move on. I’m hoping I will start over the weekend and do the best for my team," said Lorch via Far Post.
He said he does want to play against Pirates on Saturday.
"Everyone wants to play over the weekend because we are playing Pirates; it’s a big team. The coach [Rulani Mokwena] will decide who plays; it’s up to the coach."
Pirates have not enjoyed this fixture in the last few years. Moreover, Sundowns are unbeaten this season in the PSL, so they will face an uphill task in front of the Yellow Nation.
