In an interview with Thabiso Mosia on Radio2000, as per iDiskiTimes, Mokwena hailed the Buccaneers for making the transfer process easy and also making Lorch an incredible player.

"It is hard to talk about Thembinkosi Lorch without thanking Orlando Pirates for the investment and the job they did on him," he said.
"Thembinkosi Lorch is an excellent player because of his football background. And his football background is eight to nine years, maybe even more as an Orlando Pirates player.
"So, kudos to the football club [Orlando Pirates] and respect. That is why it had to be done right, and even from the Orlando Pirates' side, the humility to engage with Mamelodi Sundowns and our desire to get Lorch needs to be applauded."

Lorch could make his debut for Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League this weekend when they face his former team, Orlando Pirates, at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The former Chippa United star has assisted only one goal this season in the DStv Premiership, according to Transfermarkt.
