FootballManchester United Legend Backs Arsenal to Win the Premier League Title
- Arsenal have not tasted Premier League glory for almost 20 years now
- An EPL legend believes that the Gunners are likely to end the long wait
- The North Londoners currently sit third in the standings with 49 points
Manchester United legend, Dimitar Berbatov, has backed Arsenal to win this season's Premier League title.
The North Londoners are among four teams gunning for the crown this term after another perfect run of results during the 2023/24 campaign.
Mikel Arteta's charges came close to lifting the EPL title last season but fell short in that bid in the closing stages of the season.
However, the Gunners have shown a clear intent to end their long wait for the crown, with the side currently placed third in the standings.

Arsenal backed to win the Premier League
Despite the apparent stiff competition, Berbatov contends Arsenal are the favourites to lift the Premier League trophy this season.
Daily Star reports the former United striker recently claimed the Emirates-based outfit are in pole position to end their 20-year wait.
However, the Bulgarian also had a warning for Arteta's men, noting that Man City cannot just be 'wished away' in the title race.
"Arsenal are in a great position after their win over Liverpool, and if they correct the mistakes from last season, then I think they're in the best position to win the Premier League," he told Betfair.
"You can't say anything is finished because Man City have a lot of experience. They came from behind last season so know what it takes to lift the trophy," he continued.
