Brighton and Hove Albion have agreed a deal to sign Ghanaian teenager Ibrahim Osman from Danish Superliga outfit FC Nordsjaelland.

Osman reportedly joins the Seagulls on a 19.5 million Euros deal, as reported by The Athletic.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate will spend the next six months in Denmark with Nordsjaelland before moving to England in July.

The highly-rate winger emerged on the radar of top clubs in the winter transfer window after an outstanding campaign in the Danish Superliga and the UEFA Europa Conference League.

He came close to joining West Ham United in January, but the deal fell through at the eleventh hour, with reports indicating high demands from his agent ending the London club's interest, as reported by Kick GH.

Last season, the winger served four assists and scored a goal in 16 league games for FC Nordsjaelland and was also pivotal in the team's Conference League run, which included a 6-1 win over Fenerbache.

Osman travelled with the FC Nordsjaelland team to San Diego for pre-season early in January.

He becomes the latest player from the Right to Dream Academy to make a big move to the top five leagues, following the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Simon Adingra.

Osman scores first league goal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that teen forward, Ibrahim Osman scored his first goal in the Danish Superliga as FC Nordsjaelland defeated AGF last season.

The 19-year-old, who came through the ranks at Nordsjaelland at the tail end of the 2022 season, showed incredible composure to finish off brilliantly as the visitors collected all three points.

Nordsjaelland got off to a great start after Benjamin Nygren broke the deadlock in the 35th minute but the lead lasted only six minutes, as Nicolai Poulsen levelled for the hosts just before the break.
