Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid met Arsenal star Bukayo Saka in London after the game against Liverpool on Sunday.

The England winger of Nigerian descent scored as the Gunners defeated their title-chasing rivals 3-1 at the Emirates.

Wizkid was at the stadium to watch the Premier League clash while cheering on Saka and his Arsenal teammates.

In a video shared on social media, the Grammy Award winner shared his time with Saka, who gifted the musician a signed Arsenal jersey.

Wizkid is revered on the continent for his pioneering role in the rise of Afrobeat music across the globe. The Ojuelegba coroner has collaborated with some of the biggest music stars in the world, including Beyonce.

Meanwhile, Saka is hoping to help Arsenal end their 20-year wait for the Premier League title after the London outfit closed the gap at the top of the table with a victory over Liverpool.

Last season, Arsenal came close but fell short in the final stretch as Pep Guardiola's Manchester City beat them to the title.

The 2006 UEFA Champions League finalists remain in contention for Europe's top prize as they face FC Porto in the last 16, as reported by Euro Sport.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka visits Nigeria

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka spent the summer holidays in Nigeria following an outstanding season with the Gunners in the 2022/23 season.

Saka, who plays for the England national team, was born to Nigerian parents in London and has since been visiting the West African nation.

The 21-year-old enjoyed his best season in the last campaign, helping Arsenal finish second in the league.

Sports Brief also reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window from Italian giants Napoli.

The African Footballer of the Year's agent have reportedly met the English Premier League giants over a potential deal at the end of the season.

The Gunners will face competition from rivals Chelsea for the signature of the Napoli ace, who had an outstanding season with Napoli in Serie A last year.
