According to SPORTbible, Cole Palmer was among the goalscorers during the clash, with the former Man City ace opening the scoring for the hosts.

However, a Matheus Cunha strike and an Axel Disasi own goal turned the game on its head before the break.

Cunha went on to add two more after the interval to complete his hat-trick and inspire his side to a thrilling win.

Raheem Sterling booed by fans

One of the greatest highlights of the game was a moment involving Sterling, with the winger enduring a difficult period with the fans.

The England international was booed by a large section of the home fans as Pochettino subbed him off with 20 minutes left on the clock.

Incredibly, the decision to sub off the Englishman made little to no difference, with the hosts recording a defeat at the end of the tie.

The defeat saw the west Londoners drop to 11th in the Premier League standings with 31 points after 23 games.

They will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they take on rivals Crystal Palace in their next EPL outing.

Chelsea fans want Pochettino sacked

In other news, Sports Brief reported on a section of Chelsea fans calling for the axing of Mauricio Pochettino as the club manager following their defeat to Wolves.

The sack calls were led by Thiago Silva's wife, Belle, who took to X to insist 'it is time for change.'

Pochettino was appointed to the role as a permanent replacement for Graham Potter, who had been shown the door back in February.

However, the former Tottenham boss has struggled to steady the ship, with the Blues currently struggling for results.
