Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Austin Jay Jay Okocha has sent a positive message to the Super Eagles ahead of their Round of 16 clash against Cameroon at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Nigerian international is experienced in this game, as he has faced the Indomitable Lions on different occasions in the competition's history.
In an interview with CAF Online ahead of the game, Okocha charged up the Nigerian team, telling them they could win against the Indomitable Lions.

Football"Preparing yourself mentally and go out there and earn it because no one will give it to you [on a platter], you have to earn the right to win a football match, and I think when they understand that they stand a very good chance of winning," he said.
The former Hull City star also shared his experience playing in the game and claimed Nigeria have a better team on paper than Cameroon.
"Well, it is always an exciting tie and a great match to watch and to be part of. Like you rightly said, it's another opportunity for us to get things right and rewrite history," he added.
"It is the perfect time for us [rewrite history] because on paper, I think we [Nigeria] are better than them, and I believe we look stronger than them."
