Chelsea fans don’t want anything to do with Mason Mount, nor do they want their current players to share moments with their former academy star.

Mount left Chelsea last summer after 18 years and joined Manchester United after failing to reach an agreement with the club over a new contract with just one year left on the previous deal.

Per The Athletic, the deal was reportedly worth an initial £55 million that could rise to £60mil with add-ons if some achievement conditions are met, which are believed to be very difficult.

The club and fans did not receive the move to a direct rival well. The club showed their displeasure in the farewell message while the fans have continually trolled him.

Fans hit back at Thiago Silva

Veteran defender Thiago Silva took to his Instagram story to send a short message to his former teammate, but the fans did not take the post as intended.

“Happy birthday bro. Miss you!” he wrote.

The post made it to X, and the fans reacted differently to what was expected, claiming they do not miss him while also hitting back at the Brazilian for his association with Mount.

The former Paris Saint-Germain defender was not the only current Blues who wished his former mate; five others did, including Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah.

The 25-year-old has yet to settle down at Old Trafford and register his first goal, providing only one assist to fellow midfielder Casemiro to help himself avoid the 007 tag.

He is currently out injured from an unknown injury but could return to action soon after joining team training before the winter break.
