  • Jadon Sancho looks set to depart Manchester United in January
  • The winger is expected to rejoin Borussia Dortmund on loan
  • Sancho's proposed exit came after he fell out with Erik ten Hag

Embattled Manchester United star Jadon Sancho has further fueled rumours of his imminent Old Trafford exit after he 'liked' a post announcing his departure.

Sancho is expected to depart United in the coming days after his bitter fallout with Erik ten Hag.

The Englishman has not played for the Red Devils since August 2023, when he was exiled by ten Hag for publicly disagreeing with the Dutchman.

At the time, Sancho denied claims made by the United boss that he had been dropped from the squad due to below-par performances in training.

His fallout with the tactician sparked speculation he could be shipped out during the January transfer window.

According to SPORTbible, Borussia Dortmund are the leading contenders for his services.

Sancho 'likes' post on his exit

The same has since been confirmed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who recently tweeted:

"Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund, here we go! Deal in place between Man United and BVB on loan, NO buy option."
"Understand Sancho can travel later today for medical. BVB will cover part of the salary plus loan fee. €4m package," he added.

Surprisingly, Sancho 'liked' the tweet in what was a clear indication he is headed back to the Bundesliga club.

The wingman left Dortmund for United in the summer of 2021 but has failed to live up to his billing at the Premier League club.

The ex-Man City ace has scored just 13 goals across competitions since he joined the Old Trafford dwellers.

Keane predicts ten Hag's sacking

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United legend Roy Keane has made Ten Hag sack prediction despite the club's recent FA Cup win.

Ten Hag has come under immense scrutiny in recent weeks following United's disastrous run of form and lack of consistency across competitions.

The Red Devils have already been bundled out of two competitions, including the Champions League and the Carabao Cup.
