Premier League players in 2023 Asian Cup
Brentford
Two Brentford players will participate in this year's AFC Asian Cup. Midfielder, Saman Ghoddos will play for Iran, while defender, Kim Ji-soo will suit up for South Korea, per the BBC.
Brighton
Forward, Kaoru Mitoma was called up by Japan and will miss some of Brighton's Premier League games as a result. Samurai Blue named Mitoma in the lineup despite the standout striker having an ankle injury.
Liverpool
Midfielder, Wataru Endo was called up by Japan and will miss some of Liverpool's Premier League matches as a result.
Tottenham
Son Heung-min is daring Spurs fans to dream. He has scored 12 goals in the English top flight this season, leading them to fifth place in the Premier League table after Matchday 20.
Tottenham will be missing their captain, though, for some of their upcoming Premier League games after he was called up by South Korea for this year's AFC Asian Cup.
Wolves
Two Wolves players will participate in this year's Asian Cup. Midfielder, Hwang Hee-chan will suit up for South Korea while defender, Justin Hubner was also called up by Indonesia for the tournament in Qatar.

Sports Brief recently reported on the games that Son could miss in England while he is on international duty for South Korea.
He will surely miss the Premier League clash against Manchester United on January 14.
If the South Koreans make it to the final, Son will also miss Spurs' Premier League games against Brentford, Everton, and Brighton.
