While Liverpool are one team who have been mentioned with a move for the PSG attacker, Arsenal fans are now getting their hopes up as well.

As noted by SportBible, supporters of The Gunners believe that the French captain could be joining their side next season after his interaction on William Saliba’s Instagram post.

Mbappe likes Saliba’s Instagram post

Arsenal defender recently took to social media to share his thoughts on the game against Liverpool, describing it as a tough encounter.

Mbappe liked the post, leading many to believe that he was hinting at a preference for Arsenal over Liverpool.

While supporter of Mikel Arteta’s side have seen it as a sign of things to come, Mbappe could have just been showing support for a fellow Frenchman.

Mbappe’s future in doubt

Having joined the Ligue 1 champions from Monaco in 2018, Mbappe has become an instrumental part of PSG’s success.

He has been linked with a move away from the side as his contract runs down.

As noted by Transfermarkt, Mbappe’s contract expires on June 30, 2024. He will already be eligible to agree on a free transfer to a new side from January 1, 2024.

PSG are trying to extend his deal in France, but no agreement has yet been reached between the two sides.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo signing for Arsenal?

If boxing promoter Frank Warren had his way, then Cristiano Ronaldo would be joining Arsenal, Sports Brief previously reported.

Tyson Fury's manager and promoter recently joked that he was working on a deal to bring the Al-Nassr star to the Premier League side.

Ronaldo was seated next to Warren at the Day of Reckoning boxing event in Saudi Arabia when the promoter made the comments.
