Mason Greenwood has sent Manchester United fans into a meltdown after a superb performance against Atletico Madrid on December 19.
Greenwood starred in the La Liga match at the Wanda Metropolitano to help his Getafe side hold Diego Simeone's charges to a three-all draw.
Antoine Griezmann scored twice between an Alvaro Morata header but the team was pegged back by the visitors, having gone down to 10 men after Stefan Savic was sent off after 38 minutes.
Greenwood put in an impressive performance from the right wing, evoking reactions from Manchester United fans.
Antony, who is currently Erik ten Hag's first-choice option for that position, has failed to hit the heights expected of him when the club forked out £86 million to sign him last year.
Griezmann's sentiments on Greenwood
So good was his performance that Griezmann admitted afterwards that he was a constant headache for them.
"Mason Greenwood was really causing us problems in the second half; we couldn’t stop him and it cost us the game," he said as quoted by Tribal Football.
United fans want Greenwood to return
Manchester United fans are now up in arms, demanding the teenage striker be given a chance next year after the conclusion of his charges.
