Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva has fired a Premier League title warning to Arsenal and Liverpool.
City have endured a difficult run of form in the EPL in recent weeks, with the reigning champions winning only one of their last six fixtures.
Their last outing ended in a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace over the weekend, with the Eagles staging a dramatic comeback to hold Pep Guardiola's men, per Sky Sports.
The disappointing draw saw the Cityzens fall behind league leaders Arsenal by six points ahead of their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
City's engagement in the tournament could see them fall even further off the pace by the time they resume Premier League action.
Silva warns Premier League rivals
However, Silva has reminded their Premier League rivals that City have what it takes to close the gap and potentially retain the crown.
The midfielder made reference to the 2019 season when they closed a 10-point gap to beat Liverpool to the domestic title.
Arsenal also suffered a similar fate last season when City beat them to the title despite sitting seven points behind them at one point in the campaign.
“Do you doubt us? We’ll see what happens in May. Let’s see where we are then. I’m not going to say we are going to do it. But apart from my third season, when Liverpool won comfortably, we have won five in six titles," Silva said via The Mirror.
