- The loss saw them eliminated from the Champions League after finishing bottom of the pool
- United are scheduled to face rivals Liverpool in the Premier League in the next major fixture
Bayern Munich boss, Thomas Tuchel has highlighted three Manchester United problems in the wake of the Premier League side's UEFA Champions League elimination.
United exited the elite European competition on Tuesday night following their 1-0 defeat against Bayern in their final Group A match, finishing bottom of their pool.
The Red Devils needed a positive result from the tie to increase their slim chances of booking a spot in the next round of the tournament.
However, Sky Sports reports that a Kingsley Coman 70th-minute goal condemned the Old Trafford dwellers to a comprehensive defeat.
The loss came at a time when United have endured a difficult run of form and consistency, with their most recent Premier League outing ending in a 3-0 humiliating defeat against Bournemouth.
Tuchel pinpoints Man United's problems
Tuchel, who had a stint in the EPL with Chelsea, has now pinpointed three problems United have to contend with in the wake of their Champions League elimination.
According to the German tactician, the current Red Devils squad lack quality, personality, and width.
"Of course I have sympathy. I think he (Erik ten Hag) has a lot of key players injured for a decisive match now, that you can see then they lack this kind of personality and also the quality and maybe the width to change games from the bench. I think you could see that," Tuchel said via Metro UK.
"Yeah, it’s not an easy time but I’m pretty sure he knows what to do next," he added.
