Trent Alexander-Arnold is assisting on and off the pitch in the city of Liverpool as he spends his free time volunteering for community projects ahead of Christmas.
Alexander-Arnold has returned to his best form under Jurgen Klopp this season and helped the team reach the top of the Premier League table after 16 matches.
He is relishing his new role in the midfield, where Klopp is utilising his passing range to disrupt opponents as he keeps on providing vital assists and clutch goals.
Per Transfermarkt, Alexander-Arnold has contributed to seven goals and assists in 19 games in all competitions this season, as the Reds top both the league and Europa League table.
The academy graduate has captained his boyhood club a few times this season in the absence of regular skipper, Virgil van Dijk, having been named vice-captain at the start of the season.
Alexander-Arnold packs gifts for the homeless
The Liverpool-born-and-raised player is also an active member of the community and has been part of projects to enhance the lives of people in his locality.
Per BBC Radio Merseyside, he teamed up with Mayor, Steve Rotherham and Liam Robinson, the leader of Liverpool's City Council, to prepare gifts for people without homes.
The Premier League star joined volunteers at the Whitechapel Centre to pack over 2,000 gifts to be distributed to homeless people in the region to celebrate Christmas.
The gesture by the England international defender is receiving deserved applause on social media.
