Things are going from bad to worse for Manchester United.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Newcastle United three days after they dropped points in a crucial UEFA Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
Marcus Rashford was blasted by some United supporters after the Premier League loss, pointing out that his lack of effort against the Magpies contributed to their defeat.
Gary O Hanlon took a shot at Rashford on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), posting a video of the England international’s lack of effort while tracking back on defence.

FootballOther users posted clips also trying to prove the same.
The 26-year-old can be seen in the clip giving up after he lost a 50-50 ball to a Newcastle United player.
Rashford didn’t make an effort to retrieve the ball back as the Magpies player made his way toward the Man United box.
He just jogged back as the action unfolded, showing no sense of urgency to pressure the Newcastle players as they launched their attack.
X user, @gazzachef didn’t hold back with his reaction to that video, writing:
"[Rashford] should hang his head in shame after he watches his efforts later. This is beyond bad now. Something seriously wrong. This team are spineless. Sick of them all."
Much was expected from Rashford this season after signing a contract extension worth £325,000 a week until 2028, per the BBC.
