"14th consecutive win. 7th clean sheet in a row. Magical night. Well done, everyone, let's keep it up!" he posted on X, formerly Twitter.

The 31-year-old enjoyed a good game as he dealt with the threats from Ronaldo, compatriot Sadio Mane and Brazilian winger Anderson Talisca.

Meanwhile, second-half goals from Sergej Milinković-Savić and Aleksandar Mitrovic were enough for the host at the King Fahd Stadium, as reported by Sports Illustrated.

Al-Hilal were without the injured Neymar, who is out for several months after picking an injury during October's international break.

The towering defender joined Al-Hilal in the summer transfer window after leaving English Premier League side Chelsea.
