Al-Hilal defender Kalidou Koulibaly has congratulated his teammates after a dominant performance in the top-of-the-table clash against Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
The Senegalese centre-back kept Cristiano Ronaldo mute as the Blue Waves strolled to a 3-0 victory over Al-Nassr, opening a seven-point gap at the top of the table.
Koulibaly took to social media to share his excitement after the game as Al-Hilal continued their impressive campaign in the league.
"14th consecutive win. 7th clean sheet in a row. Magical night. Well done, everyone, let's keep it up!" he posted on X, formerly Twitter.
The 31-year-old enjoyed a good game as he dealt with the threats from Ronaldo, compatriot Sadio Mane and Brazilian winger Anderson Talisca.
Meanwhile, second-half goals from Sergej Milinković-Savić and Aleksandar Mitrovic were enough for the host at the King Fahd Stadium, as reported by Sports Illustrated.
Al-Hilal were without the injured Neymar, who is out for several months after picking an injury during October's international break.
The towering defender joined Al-Hilal in the summer transfer window after leaving English Premier League side Chelsea.
Koulibaly leaves Ronaldo lost in SPL clash
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Senegal and Al-Hilal defender, Kalidou Koulibaly got the better of Ronaldo after leaving the Portuguese ace stuck with a lovely dribble in the match against Al-Nassr.
The former Chelsea defender managed to keep the five-time Ballon d'Or winner mute for most part of the game as Al Hilal strolled to victory at the Al Awwal Park.
