Cristiano Ronaldo was left red-faced as his Al-Nassr side suffered a resounding defeat at the hands of local rivals Al-Hilal in the highly anticipated Riyadh Derby, a standout fixture in the Saudi Pro League's 15th matchday.

Mitrovic, formerly of Newcastle United and Fulham, emerged as the star of the match, stealing the spotlight with two exceptional goals that left the Al-Nassr's defence struggling to contain him.

His clinical finishing and smart positioning were instrumental in Al-Hilal's commanding win, further solidifying their position at the league's summit.

Prior to Mitrovic's goals, Cristiano Ronaldo had a goal disallowed due to an offside call, intensifying the already charged atmosphere of the match, per Zawya.com.

This led to several contentious moments that left the Al-Nassr camp feeling aggrieved, prompting the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus forward to express his frustration to Hilal's president, Fahad bin Nafel, after the game.
