Jose Mourinho hates nonsense and is never afraid to speak his mind.

The veteran manager reportedly laid into his AS Roma team following their disappointing 1-1 draw in the UEFA Europa League against Servette.

Roma had taken the lead through a Romelu Lukaku first-half goal, but the Italian giants were pegged back by their hosts five minutes after the break through Chris Bedia, as both teams failed to find a winner.

After the game, GOAL reports that Mourinho tore into his players, accusing them of being superficial, including summer signing Houssem Aouar, who had an underwhelming game.

"It’s a pity that you don’t have a camera in our locker room at half-time, because every time I make it clear to them that the opponents playing at home who are a goal down will come out fighting," the coach fumed.
"That is a natural reaction, it is something we expect. Yet again, we were superficial in our attitude, in our interpretation of this moment of the match. There are players who once again missed an opportunity to prove themselves, for example, Aouar."

The draw leaves Roma second in Group G, two points behind leaders Slavia Praha, heading into the final group game.

Roma risks facing UCL team

Meanwhile, Roma run the risk of going into a playoff against a team dropping down from the Champions League for a place in the Europa League round of 16 if they finish second in their group, Reuters reports.

The Italian giants are currently two points behind Slavia Praha heading into the final matchday and will need the Czech team to drop points in their next game to stand any chance of topping them.

Roma's final group stage game is against Sheriff Tiraspol on December 14 while Slavia Praha hosts Servette the same day.

Mourinho uninterested in Madrid job

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Jose Mourinho remains elusive regarding the speculation about stepping in for Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.

The seasoned Portuguese coach is among several names linked to the helm at Los Blancos amid uncertainties surrounding Ancelotti's tenure.

Mourinho's existing contract with Roma concludes this season and reports suggest he turned down a lucrative offer to join a Saudi Pro League team.
