Ancelotti shuts down reporter
As noted by The Mirror, the Italian recently silenced a reporter who questioned his plans for the future.
The reporter questioned Ancelotti during a press conference for the UEFA Champions League clash between Madrid and Napoli - but the tactician wasn’t having it.
"I'll give you the chance to ask another question. I say it again, I am not talking about my future," he said.
Ancelotti’s previous links with Brazil
Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid appeared to be all but over in July 2023 when news broke that he was taking over the Brazilian job.
CBF president, Ednaldo Rodrigues confirmed the former AC Milan boss would take over once his contract in Spain ended, Goal reported. The announcement thrilled the Brazilian players in the Madrid side, with Rodrygo leading the praise for Ancelotti.
Los Blancos are also looking at other managers they could appoint should the Italian leave. Former players, Xabi Alonso and Raul Gonzalez are two of the frontrunners for the job.
