Has Ousmane Dembele benefited from leaving Barcelona?

That’s certainly the belief among his entourage, who feel that a new version of the player will be on show at Paris Saint-Germain.

At PSG, he is working with a personal coach to maintain himself physically and work on his explosiveness.

As noted by PSG Talk, those close to the player believe that he made the right decision to leave the La Liga champions Barcelona and will now reach his full potential.

Their sentiments are something that Dembele himself seems to agree with, as he recently explained how happy he was at the French club.

"In recent weeks, I am happy with my performances with Paris Saint-Germain. I’m gradually gaining strength, and I hope I will continue like this," he said.

Dembele made the comments after scoring a brilliant goal against Monaco in Ligue 1, his first for his new side.

He produced an excellent first touch before banging the ball into the back of the net to open his account for the French champions.

The French attacker moved to PSG in August this year, ending his six years at Barcelona.

Dembele made 185 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring 40 goals and notching up 43 assists, Transfermarkt noted. He was seen as having mixed success with the Catalans but suffered numerous injuries while at the club.

As PSG, he has scored one goal and created five opportunities in 16 games. He has also earned high praise from manager, Luis Enrique.

After 16 games and over 1000 minutes, Ousmane Dembele finally found the back of the net for Paris Saint-Germain.

The 26-year-old joined the Ligue 1 outfit in a somewhat controversial move from Barcelona early in the summer.

After finally scoring for the Ligue 1 outfit, Dembele has finally spoken out about the moment, Sports Brief reported.
