However, with Mourinho's contract with the Giallorossi set to conclude next summer, rumours about a switch to the Middle East have reemerged.

Responding to inquiries about the possibility of this move, the former Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid manager expressed a degree of optimism about a potential shift from Europe to the Middle East.

Nonetheless, he remained uncertain about the specific timeline for such a transition.

“I think one day I will join the Saudi Pro League. I think I will go and coach there, yes”.
“But that day won’t be tomorrow or after tomorrow," he told Rai1, as cited by Fabrizio Romano.

At present, Mourinho's AS Roma occupies the seventh position in Serie A, trailing by three points behind the Champions League qualification spots.

Their upcoming fixture is against Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico on November 26 in the Italian Serie A, per Sofascore, following the conclusion of the international break.
