Bayern Munich maintained their stellar form at the beginning of the season with a convincing win against Bundesliga debutants FC Heidenheim.

The match, marked by a flurry of goals, ignited in the 14th minute when striker Harry Kane, assisted by Leroy Sane, found the net from the edge of the box.

Just before halftime, the dynamic duo combined again to further extend Thomas Tuchel's team's lead.

Despite FC Heidenheim staging a comeback with two quick goals between the 67th and 70th minutes, Bayern had enough strength in their squad to thwart any late surge.

Goals from substitutes Raphael Guerreiro and Eric Choupo-Moting secured a smooth victory for the Bavarian club.

Amid the action at the Allianz Arena, star forward Kane made history by becoming the first player in the 61-year history of the German Bundesliga to score 17 goals in his first 11 league appearances, according to reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Kane's remarkable form surpassed last season's tally of 16, which earned both Niclas Fullkrug and Christopher Nkunku the Golden Cannon prize as the league's top scorers.

Following the game, the 30-year-old forward spoke to the media, addressing his performance and other topics.

Kane speaks following Bayern's win

Talking to journalist Martin Volkmar as reported by @iMiaSanMia, Kane commented on his team's victory, saying,

"We showed a great reaction after their equalizer. I'm just enjoying playing with the team. My body is used to the strain from the Premier League, but it was a tough week."

When asked about breaking former Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski's Bundesliga goal record, Kane responded,

"Good question, I'll probably be asked about that all season. But there's still a long way to go."

Despite Kane downplaying his chances, he is on course to break Lewandowski's record, needing to find the back of the net 25 times in the remaining 23 league games to achieve this feat.

Harry Kane makes Bundesliga history

After bagging another hat-trick, Kane now has 15 Bundesliga goals. No player in the league's history has ever scored 15 goals in their first 10 games, as Sports Brief earlier reported.

Kane leads the Bundesliga scoring chart after ten games, one ahead of in-form Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy. Kane will be looking to add the Bundesliga Golden Boot to the three he won in the Premier League at the end of the season.
