Harry Kane wrote his name in the Bundesliga record books after scoring a hat-trick for Bayern Munich against bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund.

After the game, his teammate Thomas Muller was spotted in a video posted on social media joking with Kane, saying he'll run out of space because of the match balls he is collecting.

With the hat-trick on Saturday evening, the England captain has now scored back-to-back trebles. Last weekend, he scored three times as Bayern thrashed nine-man Darmstadt.

Against Dortmund, his first goal came in the 9th minute to double Bayern's lead. He scored his second in the 72nd minute and his third in injury time in front of a packed Signal Iduna Park.

His goals saw Bayern win 4-0, but they are second in the table, two points behind Bayer Leverkusen after ten games.

In total, the 30-year-old has now scored 15 Bundesliga goals in his first season in Germany.

Muller jokes with Kane

While Kane was still celebrating in the stadium with his match ball, Muller said his teammate's hotel room would get smaller because of all the match balls he was collecting.

"Your hotel room gets smaller and smaller now, huh?"

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur striker is certainly collecting match balls for fun. So far, after ten games for Bayern, he has three match balls. Therefore, he could have a couple more at the end of the season and possibly a Golden Boot.

Harry Kane makes Bundesliga history

After bagging another hat-trick, Kane now has 15 Bundesliga goals. No player in the league's history has ever scored 15 goals in their first 10 games, as Sports Brief earlier reported.

Kane is now the leading scorer in the Bundesliga after ten games, one ahead of in-form Stuttgart Serhou Guirassy.

Kane will be looking to add the Bundesliga Golden Boot to the three he won in the Premier League at the end of the season.
