  • Premier League club Chelsea have been underperforming in recent times
  • The London-based club recently witnessed a change of ownership
  • Russian club Zenit St Petersburg recently took to TikTok to troll Chelsea with a hilarious video

Since clinching the UEFA Champions League title in 2022, Premier League club Chelsea have experienced a significant decline in their performances.

Their triumphant days under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel seem like a distant memory, and despite parting ways with the manager in September 2022, the fortunes of the Premier League giants remain unchanged.

Despite undergoing a change in ownership and making reported transfer signings exceeding £1 billion, according to Sports Illustrated, Chelsea's fate remains unchanged, with the club currently occupying 10th position on the Premier League table.

This dip in form has not gone unnoticed, as Russian club Zenit St Petersburg have taken to TikTok to mock the West London club.

Zenit troll Chelsea

Following their 3-1 victory against Russian Premier League club Krylya Sovetov, Zenit took to TikTok to celebrate their win on the night. They posted a video of their third goal, which was scored by Marcus Wendell off a well-measured cross from Douglas Santos.

While sharing a goal on social media is common practice, it was the caption of the video that sparked amusement and laughter among many fans.

The Russian Premier League club humorously labelled the video as a "perfect ten" while slyly referencing Chelsea's position in the Premier League table. The video quickly ignited a frenzy among fans, who responded with a barrage of hilarious comments.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Zenit have engaged in such playful banter, as they had previously trolled Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga for his remarkable versatility.

Casillas trolls Pique

Sports Brief previously reported that Iker Casillas trolled Gerard Pique by requesting Shakira's hit song Waka Waka at the King's League, a seven-a-side tournament that the former Barcelona star organised.

Fans were chanting "Shakira Shakira" at one of the games, and the Real Madrid legend played along by asking for the song to be played to spite his old-time rival.

Pique and Shakira were in a relationship for more than a decade and have two children - Milan and Sasha - together
