  • Manchester City bested Manchester United in the first derby of the season
  • Jack Grealish played a key role in the Citizens' 3-0 victory at Old Trafford
  • Erling Haaland scored a brace as the English champions cruised to victory

Jack Grealish enjoyed a good game in the Manchester derby after producing an outstanding performance to help City beat United at Old Trafford.

The English forward was at the heart of Manchester City's 3-0 victory on Sunday, causing problems for Man United's Diogo Dalot and Sofyan Amrabat.

Erling Haaland scored a brace before providing an assist for Phil Foden as the blue side of Manchester exerted their recent dominance over the red side.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Grealish left Moroccan midfielder, Amrabat on the floor with his clever body swerve.

The moment drew applause from fans watching at Old Trafford.

Grealish was later replaced in the game by Belgium winger, Jeremy Doku, who was tasting his first Manchester derby.

Having started the game the better of the two sides, it was City who broke the deadlock after a VAR check led to a penalty being awarded to the visitors. Haaland made no mistake from the spot.

After the break, City doubled their advantage after Grealish found Bernardo Silva on the left with the Portuguese midfielder's cross met by the Norwegian.

Haaland then went from scorer to provider, finding Foden in the box for City's third.

Doku confronts Antony in Manchester derby

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Man City ace, Doku showing off his savage side with a hilarious dig at Man United winger, Antony on Sunday.

Doku and the Citizens had claimed all the bragging rights after comfortably beating the Red Devils 3-0 in the derby staged at Old Trafford.

Two goals from Haaland and a strike from Foden were enough to exhibit the current gulf in class between the two Manchester-based clubs.

Keane reacts to United's defeat to City

Sports Brief also reported on Manchester United legend, Roy Keane calling for Fernandes' axing as the club's captain.

This came moments after United were hammered by rivals Manchester City 3-0 on October 29, during their derby meeting.

Haaland found the back of the net twice to inspire City to victory, with Foden also getting his name onto the scoresheet.
