Cristiano Ronaldo penned a heartfelt message to fans after his stunning freekick inspired Al-Nassr to a come-from-behind victory in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday night.

Both the Portuguese sensation and Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca showcased their free-kick expertise, cancelling out Georges-Kevin N'Koudou's first-half goal, allowing Luis Castro's side to return to their winning ways after the international break.

Despite controlling the game from the start, the hosts fell behind just before halftime, with N'Koudou notching his third goal in as many consecutive games, stunning the home crowd.

However, the Arab Cup champions swiftly shifted the momentum in their favour after the break. Talisca marked his sixth goal in six SPL appearances, as noted by Transfermarkt, by expertly bending a low free-kick into the net.

According to Sportstar, Ronaldo, taking a page from his teammate's playbook, then delivered a majestic free-kick from nearly 30 yards, completing the comeback and securing the victory.

At the conclusion of the match, the 38-year-old football maestro took to social media to express his gratitude to the fans with a touching message.

"Incredible atmosphere in the stadium tonight. Happy with the win, and we keep working hard every game. Thank you to the fans for such a lovely tribute also," he wrote on X (formerly called Twitter).

Ronaldo sparks traditional dance celebration

After a thrilling comeback victory over Damac, Cristiano Ronaldo assumed a central role, guiding his Al-Nassr teammates in an exuberant rendition of the traditional Saudi "Ardah" dance, Sports Brief reported.

The euphoria sparked by Cristiano's expertly executed free-kick reverberated from the technical bench to the impassioned spectators, all revelling in the exhilarating match-winning moment.

Notably, their post-triumph celebration captured the spotlight as CR7 led his teammates in an energetic performance of the culturally significant "Ardah" dance, lending added significance to their hard-fought triumph.
