AC Milan vs. Juventus Betting Preview

When: Sunday, October 22, 8:45 pm local time

Odds: AC Milan (2.29) vs. Juventus (3.51), Draw (3.39); total: 2.5 - view all lines

Betting on AC Milan (2.29)

AC Milan will head into their clash against Juventus boasting a rich vein of form.

They have won each of their last four matches to jump to first place in the Serie A table.

Manager Stefano Pioli has turned things around at Milan after losing 5-1 to crosstown rivals Inter, leading his side to victories over Verona (1-0), Cagliari (3-1), Lazio (2-0), and Genoa (1-0).

Christian Pulisic starred for Milan in their win over Genoa, scoring the game's lone goal in the 87th minute. It was Olivier Giroud, however, who stole the headlines, per The Guardian.

The French striker played the last seven minutes of the match as Milan's goalkeeper after Mike Maignan got a red card in the ninth minute of added time.

Giroud was solid in defence as he did not concede a goal, even making a stunning save late in the match.

With Maignan suspended for the match against Juventus, Milan will be using Marco Sportiello as their starting goalkeeper.

Betting on Juventus (3.51)

Juventus moved up to third in the Serie A table after they defeated Torino 2-0 in the Turin derby. Federico Gatti and Arkadiusz Milik scored the goals for Juve, who stretched their unbeaten run to three matches, per Eurosport.

For Juventus to extend that streak against Milan, they will need to continue their excellent play on the defensive end. They have not allowed a goal in their last three matches, with Juve recording two wins and a draw during that span.

They have struggled, however, in their past meetings with Milan. Juventus have not recorded a win in their last five matches against Milan, losing thrice and drawing twice during that span.

Juventus lost both of their matches against Milan in Serie A last season, with the Old Lady failing to find the back of the net in those two games.
