Chelsea has been given a huge boost ahead of their clash against Arsenal on Saturday as it appears one of their attackers has rediscovered his goal-scoring form.

Noni Madueke has been inspired while on international duty with the England Under-21 team, netting three goals in two games.

His latest strike came on Monday, October 16 when the Young Lions came up against Ukraine.

Lee Carsley’s side succumbed to their first qualifier defeat on the road in 12 years as the Eastern Europeans emerged 3-2 winners on the day.

Ukraine took a 2-0 lead in Kosice, Slovakia against the reigning U21 Euro champions thanks to goals from Nazar Voloshyn and Oleh Ocheretko, as cited by Sky Sports.

For Chelsea fans, however, they had a reason to smile as Madueke showed glimpses of his best with a beautiful goal for the Young Lions.

The winger took a goal back in the 67th minute with a powerful strike that gave his side hope, before Charlie Cresswell equalised in the 89th minute, per Chelsea's website.

As England were looking for a winner, they were caught on the counter with Ilya Kvasnytsya coming up with a curling strike in the fourth minute of stoppage time to steal the win for Ukraine.

However, fans have continued to react to Madueke’s performances on international duty.

"Said he’s been watching footage of Mo Salah and Mbappe’s finishing. Guess it’s paying off"

@SammyCartercfc added:

"He just wants to enter that starting lineup by force."

@NickLian6 said:

"Need to see this at Chelsea when he's given a chance. Seen too many Chelsea players score and perform well for their national teams but then doesn't do the same for the club."

@FeelChels remarked:

"When Madueke starts firing, everyone will realize how good he is."
