Former France defender, Adil Rami, has weighed in on Kylian Mbappe's anticipated move to Real Madrid in the summer.

Numerous reports from Spain indicate that the final stages of the transfer deal are nearly concluded, signalling Mbappe's imminent departure from Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe himself has confirmed his departure from PSG at the end of the season, with his final appearance slated for the French Cup final against Olympique Lyon on May 25, per Supersport.

Despite the widespread anticipation surrounding the French superstar's move to Madrid, there are also concerns about how he will integrate into the team.

Rami, who was part of France's 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning squad alongside Mbappe, has cautioned the France captain about the adjustment to the new environment in the Spanish capital.

"He’s going to have to adapt. He’s heading to a team full of egos and lots of demands."

While cautioning his former international teammate, the 38-year-old reckoned a move to Madrid would benefit the France captain.

"Everything will be new for him, but I think moving to Madrid will be a great career move," Rami told Telefoot, as quoted by Tribuna.

How Madrid will line up with Mbappe?

After enduring years of speculation and rumours, it seems that Real Madrid might finally secure the services of Mbappe.

This potential move could revolutionise Los Blancos, providing the French captain with an ideal opportunity to pursue UEFA Champions League glory.

Taking this into account, Sports Brief has crafted the ultimate starting XI for the Spanish champions next season, assuming all goes as planned.

In this lineup, Mbappe is anticipated to slot into the central position of Madrid's front three, flanked by the Brazilian duo of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo de Goes.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham, who has been a standout this term, will occupy an advanced midfield role with his new teammate likely to slightly temper his attacking duties.

Mbappe remains mute about Madrid move

In a previous publication, Sports Brief reported that Mbappe has chosen to keep his next destination under wraps despite announcing his departure from PSG.

While he hasn't divulged the name of the club, the French captain has hinted at his enthusiasm for the forthcoming opportunity at his new football destination.

Despite maintaining secrecy about the details, Mbappe expressed eagerness at a new club and said he was looking forward to the fresh adventure awaiting him.
