  • He has reportedly received several offers, but no deal has materialized

Eden Hazard has not found a club since leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season. He spent four forgettable years in Sapin following his record-breaking transfer from Chelsea in 2019.

The former Chelsea superstar made just 76 appearances for Real Madrid and scored just seven goals in an injury-hit spell. The Spanish giants decided to let Hazard leave a year before his contract was due to expire.

He has reportedly signed up to signed up to take part in a charity match in Calais on October 18 for Varietes Club de France.

Kylian said he is unsure if his older brother will play again.

“At the moment he’s not moving, but I don’t know if his career is over. If he makes a final decision, it will be up to him to say so. Eden is in Madrid, because his children go to school there and he has decided to relax for now. He is trying to enjoy life for now," via Football Espana.

Kylain, 28, currently plays for RWD Molenbeek in Belgium. He added that Hazard should retire to spend more time with his family.

“If I were him, I would retire immediately. After a long career like his, I think Eden deserves to spend time with his family.”

Multiple reports indicated that Hazard received offers from several clubs after leaving Madrid, but it seems he isn't ready to return to the pitch yet. He won eight titles at Real Madrid, including the Champions League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup, two leagues, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.

Hazard spotted at Stamford Bridge

Sports Brief reported that Hazard was spotted at Stamford Bridge before the 1-1 draw between his former club and visiting Liverpool.

The Belgian spent seven years at Chelsea but is without a club after Real Madrid terminated his contract. It was initially unclear why he was at the game.

The 32-year-old won two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, the FA Cup at Chelsea.

Hazard dispels retirement rumours

Sports Brief also reported on Hazard quashing rumours of his retirement after claims that he was considering hanging up his boots after the termination of his Real Madrid contract.

The Belgian retired from international football after a dismal 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign and was given a lap of honour ahead of his country's Euro 2024 qualifier game against Austria.
