- Manchester United suffered a heart-breaking 3-2 loss to Galatasaray on Tuesday night
- Rasmus Hojlund starred for the Red Devils, scoring twice in the Champions League tie
- One United fan took to social media to post highlights of Hojlund's superb performance
It is tough being a Manchester United fan nowadays.
The Red Devils have lost six of their last 10 matches, putting their Premier League and Champions League title hopes in jeopardy.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though, for United, with Rasmus Hojlund showing his attacking prowess in the loss to Galatasaray on Tuesday night.
United’s future remains bright with Hojlund
A fan took to social media to pay tribute to the Danish striker, posting a one-minute video of Hojlund’s highlights against Galatasaray on TikTok.
The fan liked what he saw from the 20-year-old forward, writing: “What a performance.”
He scored a brace in that Champions League match, giving United the lead twice against the Super Lig giants.
It wasn’t just Hojlund’s goals that impressed the United fan but also his dribbling skills and build-up play.
The opening sequence of the video showed Hojlund bringing the ball from United’s own half into their penalty box before creating a goal-scoring opportunity with a delightful cross.
Red Devils waste Hojlund’s double
Hojlund displayed that dribbling wizardry with his second goal, keeping the Galatasaray defender at bay with his speed before dispatching an exquisite chip shot past goalkeeper Fernando Muslera to give United a 2-1 lead in the 67th minute.
Unfortunately for Hojlund and the Red Devils, they couldn’t hold on to that advantage. Mauro Icardi scored the late match-winner at Old Trafford to give Galatasaray all three points, per the BBC.
It was a disappointing defeat for the Red Devils, who have lost their first two group games in the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Sports Brief recently reported on Manchester United’s poor run of form in the Premier League.
They have lost four of their opening seven league matches in the English top flight this season, the first time that has happened to United since the 1989-90 campaign.
They are languishing in 10th place following losses to Tottenham, Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Crystal Palace.
