Real Madrid legend and current Sevilla defender, Sergio Ramos has revealed that it would be great if he scored his first Sevilla goal against Barcelona.
The veteran defender faced Madrid's arch-rivals many times in his career and will be facing them for the first time this season after returning to Spain.
Barcelona face Sevilla on Friday night as they look to bounce back following a frustrating 2-2 draw against Mallorca. The defending La Ligas champions are third in the table with 17 points from seven games.
Meanwhile, Ramos and Sevilla have not made a great start to the season. After six games, they are 12th in the table with 7 points.
The 37-year-old has made two appearances for the club this season, one in the league and one in the Champions League, per Transfermarkt. Of course, he would love to score against his long-time adversaries.
"Yes, hopefully (laughs), it wouldn't be bad to score my first goal against Barcelona. But my focus is on being solid defensively and keep a clean sheet. Of course, everyone has already prepared a celebration [for the goal], it's always very funny," he said, via Madrid Xtra.
Ramos has faced Barcelona 47 times and won 15 times, drawn 10 times, and lost 22 times. He has scored five times against them. He has also seen two red cards against Xavi Henandez's side.
Ramos on his lifelong Sevilla ambition
Shortly after making his transfer to Sevilla official, Ramos said he wants to win a title with the club.
"Before I die, I would like to win a title with the team of my soul. I think we can win a title, even the league or the Champions League. I know it's difficult, but the first thing to do is believe."

Ramos gets a hero's welcome
Sports Brief earlier reported on Ramos getting a rapturous welcome after returning to his boyhood club.
The defender was introduced to the passionate home crowd, with 23,000 fans filling the arena to welcome the Spanish veteran back home.
During the presentation, Ramos was visibly moved and became emotional, shedding tears of joy.
