Arsenal fan and media personality, Piers Morgan has advised Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen on what to do in light of the recent TikTok controversy involving his club, Napoli.

The Nigerian star was trolled by the Partenopei on their official page on TikTok after the former Lille striker missed a penalty during their goalless draw against Bologna recently.

This is said to have not gone down well with Osimhen, with reports stating he has removed everything related to the club from his account on Instagram while his agent has threatened legal action.

Morgan took to his official page on X (formerly Twitter) to advise the Super Eagles striker while replying to football insider, Fabrizio Romano's tweet on the issue.

He told the Nigerian not to endure mistreatment at Napoli, according to Soccernet. The veteran journalist went on to tell the Napoli striker to consider a move to English Premier League side, Arsenal.

"Don’t take this terrible treatment - come to Arsenal instead," Morgan wrote.

Morgan has always been a fan of the Nigerian international and previously claimed the Gunners need a striker like him if they want to win big titles.

"If Arsenal wants to win big trophies, they need a world-class striker who will score 25+ goals a season. I’d break the bank for Osimhen," the journalist said at the time.

Osimhen is yet to air his views on the matter, with his agent, Roberto Calenda also releasing a statement slamming the club for their mockery, as Sports Brief also reported.

Osimhen trolled on Napoli’s TikTok account

Sports Brief also reported on Nigerians reacting with outrage after Napoli's official TikTok account uploaded a video trolling Osimhen for his penalty miss against Bologna.

The miss robbed the Neapolitans of what could have been three points and sparked an angry reaction from fans, many of whom had bet on the Italian champs to win.

Napoli then posted a clip showing Osimhen calling for a penalty and then missing, also dubbing him 'Pessi' and including a mocking high-pitched voice to mock him.
