Jude Bellingham continues to enjoy his fantastic start to life since completing his transfer to Spanish club Real Madrid.
The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder once again stole the show as his 94th-minute winner was enough to secure a much-needed for Carlo Ancelotti’s side against Urs Fischer's Union Berlin.
Bellingham is fast becoming a fan favourite at the Bernabeu and took time to speak to the media following his amazing display on his UEFA Champions League debut with his new side.
Bellingham on Madrid UCL victory
The 20-year-old midfielder has found the back of the net six times in as many games for Los Blancos, as reported by talkSport. He spoke of how happy he was to play for the Spanish giants.
As Reported by Madrid Universal, the midfielder said:
“You don’t know how big Real Madrid is until you play in this club.
“I don’t expect a start like this, 6 goals in 6 games, but I have my feet on the ground.”
Bellingham also took time to speak about the fans.
“The fans drive me crazy.
“I thought the Bernabéu sounded good in the league, but when I scored the goal in the Champions League.”
The young midfielder was named La Liga Player of the Month for August in his first month at the Spanish club, and also picked up the Player of the Match prize on the night.
Italian gaffer Ancelotti will be counting on the young midfielder when his side lines up at the Civitas Metropilitano against city rivals Atletico Madrid on September 24.
