However, the highlight of the break could well be the 31-year-old's meeting with two siblings before the match against the North Africans.

In a video shared on social media, Mane shared a heartwarming moment with the children, with the youngest showing off his Mane-inspired dyed hair.

The former Liverpool star also took photos with the brothers while having a short conversation with them.

Mane is revered in Senegal after leading the Teranga Lions to their first-ever AFCON victory in Cameroon last year. He is also the reigning CAF Player of the Year.

The former Bayern Munich star joined Al-Nassr in the summer transfer window and has become a key squad member, scoring five goals in five matches as reported by Transfermarkt.

Mane reacts furiously to referee's decision

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Mane expressing outrage at the refereeing during the game between Senegal and Algeria at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Dakar.

During the clash on Tuesday night, the Al-Nassr forward was in action as the African champions lost to the Desert Warriors in a repeat of the 2019 AFCON finals.

Fares Chaibi headed home the winning goal for Algeria in the 64th minute after meeting an important cross from former Manchester City winger, Riyad Mahrez.
