Al-Nassr star, Sadio Mane has returned home to join the Senegalese national team for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda.

The 31-year-old was met at the team hotel by fans of the Teranga Lions as the team began preparations ahead of Saturday's game.

The African champions have already sealed their spot at next year's tournament in Ivory Coast and will engage Rwanda in the final game of Group L, as reported by the BBC.

In a video shared on social media, a fan who was struggling to get a photo with the ex-Liverpool star was allowed to have his moment with Mane.

The 2022 African Player of the Year requested the fan take the photo with him despite resistance from security personnel.

Mane left Bayern Munich to join Al-Nassr in the summer transfer window and has since become a fan favourite in Saudi Arabia.

Mane, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, helped the Knights of Najd to win the Arab Club Cup championship after they beat Al-Hilal in the final.

The duo have contributed eleven goals in the league as Al-Nassr bounced back from a slow start.

Mane leaves Al-Hazm defender lost

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mane was in sensational form for Al-Nassr in their heavy win against Al-Hazm in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old crowned a magnificent performance with a goal as Al-Nassr strolled to a 5-1 victory on the road.

Mane also had a goal ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee following a foul in the box against the visitors.

Mane scored for the third game running as Al-Nassr strolled to victory against A-Hazm in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday night.

The ever-lively Mane was a menace throughout the game as his outstanding performance was crowned with a stunner as the Knights of Najd took a 5-1 lead.

In a video shared on social media, Mane brilliantly curled home from the edge of the box to continue his terrific run of form in the league.
